Sharmba Mitchell vs. Reggie Green
This is a tough one to call. Both these fighters have heart and determination. both have decent power. This is Sharmba's second title defense since winning the WBA Super Lightweight belt last Oct. This is Reggie's first title fight, and continues his campaign of 10 straight wins since losing to Charles Murray by KO in Oct of 95. This fight can go either way. Sharmba being a southpaw will contribute to his win and I expect him to pull off the decision in an action packed no holds barred 12 round battle.
Mitchell by decision

Hassine Cherifi vs. Keith Holmes

This is a rematch I have been looking very forward to seeing. Cherifi took the title from Holmes last May (by close decision), and Holmes has been waiting for the opportunity to take it back. Since that bout, Cherifi has fought once (a non-title decision to Anthony Ivory) and Holmes has fought once (1st round stoppage of Alex Lubo who took the place of Cherifi when Cherifi pulled out of their original scheduled rematch last Feb. because of injury). Holmes is gunning for his title, and expect a more than prepared and determined Holmes to overwhelm Cherifi in the later rounds.

Mark Johnson vs. Ratanachai Vorapin

Johnson is the former IBF Flyweight Champ and is, along with Vorapin, gunning for the vacant IBF Junior Bantamweight crown. Mark (#1 IBF Contender) moved up in weight and gave up his title to go for this one. He had seven successful defenses of his flyweight belt.
I Like this boxer. There's a reason he's called "Too Sharp".
Vorapin (#2 IBF Contender) is a Thai boxer who is currently on an 18-fight win streak, including 14 by knockout. In his last fight, Vorapin knocked out Fernando Ibarra in the sixth round this past Jan.  Mark has not lost a fight in 9 years, and has TONS of international experience.
Expect action packed early rounds, then Mark to put the Rat to sleep.

Johnny Tapia vs. Sergio Liendo

Johnny is a great undefeated bantamweight with tons of experience against known fighters, so why is he fighting this tomato can? Sergio is your run of the mill club fighter, an unknown. Hmmm . . . perhaps Johnny wants to easily keep his record clean. Who knows why, but expect an overmatched Sergio to be kissing the canvas several times before getting stopped in this bearly than competitive joke of a fight.
